Every template was built around principles drawn from inside professional academies and recruiting environments. A few of the rules that shape every asset in your kit:
Send from the player's email - not the parent's.
Coaches evaluate the player's communication as part of recruitment. A parent-sent email tells a coach the player isn't ready to drive their own recruiting.
Update every 60 days.
Stats change. New tape gets cut. Test scores arrive. A one-pager more than two months old is a one-pager out of date.
Reference one specific program element.
Generic flattery gets deleted in three seconds. One concrete reference - playing style, recent result, recruiting class - shows you actually researched their program. Pick one thing.
Ask for a brief call, not a meeting.
Soft asks earn higher response rates than formal ones. "Would you be open to a brief call?" respects the coach's time and lowers the commitment bar for a yes.
